The DreamCaster module estimates the optimal placement of a specimen using its 3D geometrical model prior to a real scan.
To start, run open_iA, then go to Tools -> DreamCaster. You will be asked to choose an STL file for the object you want to scan. Once you have chosen one, the DreamCaster interface is shown, where you can adapt the settings to your needs. Press "Start simulation" to find optimal parameters.
