- Description: Citizen Developers are non-IT users who create business applications, and they're playing an increasingly important role in today's business enterprises. A recent survey found that 80% of today’s business enterprises are actively planning to implement citizen developer programs. In many cases, citizen developers are not only building their own apps, but they're also integrating them with other systems - and doing so with little or no help from IT. And it's the availability of APIs that is making this possible. In this talk, I'll explain why there is a rising number of citizen developers, why they are important to API designers and developers, and present some techniques that we can use to address their unique needs.

- Description: There are some development tools and services - especially "low" and "no code" types - that provided very limited support for HTTP requests. For example, some provide support for sending HTTP GET and POST requests, but do not support PUT, PATCH, DELETE, etc. Some also do not support setting HTTP headers, JSON decoding, and so on. API Assistant is a simple app that provides this missing functionality and more.
