I work primarily on PHP. I have been learning Laravel 5.2 framework and pushing my javascript / jQuery knowledge as well. I find myself building a lot of API framework around various network systems in order to provide updates to dashboards and other tools in a more fluid manner.

I look forward to this conference as I hope to meet many like-minded developers.

I would like to briefly discuss the need for all developers to avoid the age-old problem of reinvention. There is nothing quite so frustrating, or costly as reinventing "the wheel"

Let's have a conversation about times when reinvention is necessary and even preferred vs when tried and true is the way to go!
