Various accounts are needed for the installation and operation of SQL Server. The different types of accounts and best practices on how to use them are described below:
Account Type | Description |
---|---|
Software Install Account | Dedicated account for installing software |
SQL Service Accounts | Individual accounts for each SQL Server service |
SQL Server Proxy Accounts | SQL Server Proxy Accounts |
