IRIS test

There exists a test machine for Iris: NDXIRIS test. This document contains information and issues that have been discovered associated with this machine.
Notably, as it is running a simulated DAE, you will need to run create_icp_binaries.bat when upgrading EPICS. Also make sure to run isisicp.exe RegServer as in the IBEX developers' getting started guide.
The instrument has had in the past connecting to the ISIS DAE, as evident by entries in the ISISDAE log:
CoCreateInstanceEx (ISISICP) : Class not registered
In this case, installing the Visual 2010 C++ run time libraries fixed the issue. Not sure why they weren't already.
