About The Pull Request

Removes alpha passthrough on laser projectiles.

Why It's Good For The Game

It just doesn't work, and its a bit annoying with how many combat roles get invisibility.

IIRC, correct me if i'm wrong this should affect.. The invisible xenos, the genetic mutation and ninjas?

Or maybe the invisible box from stealth implant?

Rip ninja, now bordering on defenseless against even mediocre sec. Xenos will still be fine, but the other ninja change should be entirely reverted with this.

Being able to damage while dashing is cool, but they feel very underpowered in the face of security even with the extremely costly invisibility now that their only reliable attack does barely more damage than sec lethals and loses outright to sec shotguns.

What if it is a percentage of it going through instead? Say 50% by default, this could be tweaked for each situation.

Maybe the ninja suit just needs more than 30 armour against lasers.

Or maybe they should get some resistance to the slowdown, considering melee is entirely reliant on not being slow and projectile is entirely reliant on getting the first shot off to slow your enemy more than you.
