Nothing related to the content, I proposed a redesign:

  • by respecting the initial color base (pinkish purpleish)
  • by improving touch usability (easier to point links)
  • by adding some fun to the colors.
  • by improving readability

That's a quick shot to contribute. Feel free to refuse it if it doesn't match your tastes.

@witch-house do you need any help on this?

@geoffreycrofte I actually reached out to her a bit ago with this specific PR in mind, it's suck an improvement to the current site design. Didn't hear back regarding this one, sounds like she's mostly moved on to other projects.

Hey, thanks for sending this. The redesign is pretty neat actually! I'm not opposed to "responsive" design as long as it loads fast and really is responsive (looks good on things like non-graphical browsers and extremely narrow browser windows).

I do want to keep something a little closer to the original brutalist design than this. Let me play around with this and I'll get you some specific feedback.

Hello @morganastra (and thanks @AriGibson)

Thanks for your feedback.
My proposal is more responsive than the actual one (big texts doesn't work well on small smartphones), and everything is made in precisely 300 lines of CSS not minified.
I kept a brutalist design in the shapes by giving it a stronger identity.

But feel free to refuse it if you don't like it. I proposed it because I had a lot of negative feedback on your website's design, and it's a shame because the content is really useful.

Have a great day 😄
