The reason we have separate projects is because this is a really fast paced distributed project with teams that sometimes aren't able to communicate. To avoid conflicts and communication at the time, we're going to have to do it this way until the public testnet is available.

For the same reason, we had a separate prototyping in https://github.com/truechain/py-trueconsensus and decided to settle on gRPC + protobuf to use for communication between various components, so then literally freeing us from syncing up (ikr! terrible ideas).

We strive to follow a better model once this particular roller coaster ride is over
