Switching from acts_as_state_machine to AASM
All the code generated for —stateful is also the same code generated for AASM, with the exception of your user model’s decision of which state machine to include. So at the top of user.rb (or whatever your user model is), change this:
include Authorization::StatefulRoles
to this:
include Authorization::AasmRoles
Make sure you install aasm and follow other setup recommendations, as described elsewhere in this wiki. And, if you didn’t generate with —stateful before, then you’ll need more extensive adjustments than this.
