About Me
Hello! My name is Tyler Miller. I am 29 years old and am from the Los Angeles county area. I have been programming regularly since late 2017, and I am creating and improving open-source software. Lua and Neovim plugins are my current focus, although I tend to switch gears (and languages) once or twice per year (which I believe helps one to avoid becoming rusty.rs). I have a few active repo's at the moment, and I will open a pull-request every now and then. If you are wondering why I don't have more repositories on GitHub, I only started really mastering git and pushing my work in 2022 or so.
My Style
I prefer quality over quantity, and I prefer spending the time needed to get things done right the first time, instead of forcibly rushing through things (although there does exist a sweet-spot, or happy-medium if you will, of course).
My Goals/Plan/Future
I plan to continue improving and expanding my programming knowledge every single day whilst widening the scope of my open-source work. Your support will help to facilitate that.
Your Sponsorship
Your support/sponsorship would mean alot to me both personally, and financially.
Your sponsorship will:
-
First and foremost, be immensely appreciated!
-
Provide for me further motivation, as well as the means and motivation to continue. I already love programming and open-source work, but you can never have too much motivation!
-
Allow me to continue working on FOSS regularly, and often (bet you haven't heard that one before! but it's true, so I thought I must include it, just as all the others do!).
-
Help me support myself financially.
-
Potentially go towards supporting other FOSS developers as well! That is, when I have the chance, I will be making donations to other developers here on GitHub as well (to a degree and as money allows). In particular, those who I come across who are friendly and provide great support, or those who are lesser-known and put in alot of time/effort.
Even a $5 one-time donation means something to me (really), provides motivation, and adds up, even if it may not seem like much on the surface. So don't be shy! 😆
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your consideration!
