I write detailed guides on rooting webOS TVs (e.g., crashd, NVM) and miscellaneous other stuff. I help people with various webOS issues (mostly rooting) on the openlgtv Discord nearly every day.

Much of my work is behind-the-scenes reverse engineering, but recently I've been contributing to the firmware extraction tool epk2extract and the buildroot-nc4 toolchain.

I've bought a ton of LG boards with different SoCs and versions of webOS for research and testing, and the costs really add up. The required cables, power boards, and smaller accessories are a significant part of the cost.

The more donations I get, the more time I can spend on this.

If the key for your firmware (not PVR recordings) is not available in epk2extract, contact me. (Although it probably is, as I've recently contributed many of the missing keys for common models.)
