Copy Microsoft Edge Bookmarks

This repository includes a DOS batch script to copy the Bookmarks file from Microsoft Edge to a destination folder. The Bookmarks file is in JSON format and the copied file will have the .json extension.

Why would you want to copy the Bookmarks?

• In the event your current computer unexpectedly stops working.
• When the Synchronizarion process of Microsoft Edge doesn't work.
• If find yourself unable to access your favorites from your previous computer.

How to use this script

You can create a shortcut to this script in your startup folder:

• Press Win + R keys and type "shell:startup"
• Create a shortcut there to this script.

Destination Folder

Use a destination folder which is synched to one of your cloud storage locations.
