Description

  • Updated the SignupForm component by implementing a feature that prevents users from copying and pasting text into the
Confirm Password field. This ensures users are actively typing their passwords rather than pasting them.
  • To achieve this functionality, a new event handler function 'handlePasteConfirmPassword' has been introduced. This function
is attached to the Confirm Password TextField component's 'onPaste' event, where it intercepts any paste attempts and
prevents the default paste action using ' event.preventDefault() '.

Motivation and Context

This feature enhancement enhances the security posture of the application and promotes user-friendly password management practices, contributing positively to the user experience and overall security of the application.
