It hasn't been updated for 6 years. Also, I think it's better to omit extensions of gems in order to keep lists more focused. For example, the Shrine gem maintains its own list of extensions on its website.
It hasn't received a commit for over 3 years, and it's not even a pagination gem.

This functionality has been merged into Pagy and the gem is now discontinued, as per the README.
