Hi, this work looks interesting, thank you for sharing. I would suggest you look to upstream this to the core libcamera repo once you have finished the implementation. You can find details on contributing to libcamera here.

This repo will track the upstream libcamera repo and you work will eventually land in our libcamera packages.
