  • Converts most of the project setup to use pyproject.toml.
  • Removes versioneer and switches to setuptools-git-versioning
  • Cleans up CI pipeline to use optional dependencies from project file
  • Fixes a mpiarray bug which was stopping us from using current versions of zarr
