INSuRE-veins

Veins is an open source framework for running vehicular network simulations. It is based on two well-established simulators: OMNeT++, an event-based network simulator, and SUMO, a road traffic simulator. It extends these to offer a comprehensive suite of models for IVC simulation.

Installing INSuRE-veins

1. Download and Install Veins

   Instant Veins 5.0 i2 with SimuLTE is recommended

2. If you're using Instant Veins, download a Virtual Machine to run the .ova file.

   Virtual Box is recommended

3. Once the .ova file is setup in Virtual Box, login to Instant Veins (password is veins) and open Omnet++ IDE

   Here, you will see all of the source files for Veins 5.0 i2 with SimuLTE

4. Finally, download the code from this repository and replace the original files with the new ones from the repository.
