This brings on the improvements from v1.2.1 and brings them to desktop as well with a few other bug fixes. The Electron bundle size has decreased from 150 MB to 100 MB, and the web/Android build from 75 MB to 25 MB!

For users that don't have very high download speeds, this means that Primoprod will load significantly faster and be much more usable. For those that do, this will prove a nicer experience with less stuttering until asynchronous prefetching is implemented.

As a result of these changes, however, browser compatibility has been reduced to those support VP9 + WEBM and WEBP. In the future, as AVIF and AV1 are adopted, they will be considered as they bring another ~30% size reduction for images and video.

The minimum browser requirements for Primoprod web are as follows:

• Internet Explorer of any version has never been supported
• Edge 18+ (Nov 2018)
• Firefox 65+ (Jan 2019)
• Chrome 23+ (Sep 2012), or any of its siblings, including Chromium, Opera, Vivaldi,
• Safari 14+ with macOS 11 Big Sur (Sep 2020)

On mobile:

• iOS: Safari/Chrome/Firefox 14+ (Sep 2020)
• Android: any browser after 2019 really

Other changes:

• Backgrounds are now properly shown on Android/Chrome while in portrait mode (#43)
• Fixed a visual issue where the purchase overlay progress bar in Android/Chrome/Safari would not match the slider thumb

This is a hotfix release primarily for web environments. Primoprod now uses optimised media for significantly faster loading speeds — up to 5x faster!

• OGG is used over MP3 when supported
• WEBM is used over MP4 when supported
• WEBP is used over PNG when supported

In the future, these will be used by default without a fallback to reduce the file size for the offline desktop/mobile builds. As these formats have been supported in all major browsers since ~2015, and Vue 3 does not support IE, this should be a largely simple transition for all users.
