- Dolosse/GitHub - A modern DAQ packaged based on Apache Kafka. Currently under development (primarily) at iThemba LABS.
- OCLDAQ - DAQ software used at OCL.
- MultiInstanceDataAcquisitionSystem/MIDAS - Acquisition system used in many different labs.
- MIDAS - Acquisition system developed at PSI and TRIUMF.
- NSCLDAQ - Acquisition system developed and used at NSCL.
- Marabou - Acquisition system developed at the University of Munich and used for the readout of Miniball at ISOLDE.
- MiniballCoulexSort - Sort code for Miniball experiments in the standard Coulex configuration (with or without SPEDE).
- usersort - Software for sorting raw data from the analog DAQ system at OCL.
- OMpy - A python package for performing the Oslo Method analysis.
- Oslo Method Software - A set of programs to performing the Oslo Method analysis (old).
- ROOT - De-facto standard tool for analyzing data in particle and nuclear physics.
- Vaex - Out-of-core DataFrames for python. A very powerful package for analyzing gigantic amounts of data. Just as or faster than ROOT.
- Geant4 - A toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter.
- LISE++ - Calculator for transmission and yields of beams. Also includes several useful calculators such as kimematics, fusion evaporation simulations, etc.
- Qkinz - Kinematics calculator for the SiRi array at OCL.
- SRIM - Software for calculating stopping power of ions in matter. The webpage are straight out of the 90's.
- TALYS - Fortran package for running Hauser-Feshbach calculations.
- pyMC3 - Package for statistical programming in python. Very simple package for developing Bayesian models.

- lvl_builder or GitHub - lvl_builder is a python script to build an energy level scheme that is normally used in the nuclear physics.
