Talked to the Secretary about support new/alternative social media links. Her direction: while appreciative of the idea and glad that we're thinking proactively, she would prefer to hold off on adding any new/different social media support for right now. If we get requests from Senators' offices, we should refer them to the Secretary. My sense is that they'll wait and see what (if any) real-world requests come and build a policy from there. I guess I can see how any new social media sites we add -- or don't add -- support for could become a tricky thicket (Bluesky? Theads? TikTok? TruthSocial? Rumble? etc, etc). Thank you for exploring options and validating that this would be doable if the need comes up -- I think we'll eventually need this work (just not today).
