Pollinator Facts is a web app for displaying various pollinator facts.
The app is built with Gatsby, Material-UI, and Netlify.
The web app is deployed at pollinators.app
If you'd like to contribute, please fork the repository and make changes as you'd like. You might want to add facts following our structure. Pull requests are warmly welcome.
Our CMS is avaiable at pollinators.app/admin/. If you have permission to contribute you can create and edit posts in the web CMS interface.
To start developing on your local machine:
- Clone the repo
- Run
npm install
in the root directory - Run
gatsby develop
to start the dev server

Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).
The Trust Fund is a permanent fund constitutionally established by the citizens of Minnesota to assist in the protection, conservation, preservation, and enhancement of the state’s air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources. Currently 40% of net Minnesota State Lottery proceeds are dedicated to growing the Trust Fund and ensuring future benefits for Minnesota’s environment and natural resources.
