• Tidied up arguments pattern, eofs, i.eofs and i.cca to be replaced with ip - index pattern to conform with the style of it (index time), is (index space), and im (index mamber - fore ensembles). Additional features are available if the packages RgoogleMaps or LatticeKrig are installed. The version of esd is now 1.4.

• The master branch now uses ncdf4 as default. To install esd-ncdf version first switch to branch 'master-ncdf' (https://github.com/metno/esd/tree/master-ncdf) then proceed the installation.

• A bug in retrieve have been found and fixed related to several pressure levels, REMEMBER, esd-package can read 4D data but could not post-process it! All field objects must be a 3-D data object

• Argument time has been replaced by argument it in retrieve to be consistent with other functions like subset, annual, etc.

• A serious bug in retrieve have been found and fixed for users using ncdf !

• Geographical borders' line colour in map.station() has been changed to "grey50".
• Main bugs have been fixed in map.station() which is working pretty well now.
• An argument show.val has been added into the list argument of map.station() to display the mapped values together with the colour bar.
