Locomotive-Passport-Boilerplate

This is an experimental boilerplate/template/sandbox thing that combines the locomotive MVC framework with a few other components like the Passport authentication framework.

Components

  • express
    Basic web framework for node.js

  • locomotive
    MVC web framework on top of express with RESTful resource routing

  • jade
    HAML-like template language/engine for node.js

  • passport
    Modular authentication framework for connect/express

  • mongoose
    Object modeling tool for MongoDB

  • connect-mongodb
    connect session store with MongoDB backend
