Hi Henning,
I added Desktop Notifications to the plugin -- it creates popups outside of the browser if any of the jobs changes the state, thus making it more visible when you are not looking at your browser.
It's an optional option, i.e. if users don't want it, they don't need to activate it.
Furthermore I cheekily added a 2 minute polling option to satisfy my impatience.
