User lquidfire on the AUR page requested that we link the docs to /usr/share/docs. As far as I can tell, the Arch packages for texlive don't include docs by default, and the default docs location is /usr/share/docs, so this seems fine to me. Thoughts?

Linking the docs seems fine. Just the python2 question for me.

The Archlinux TeX-live package does indeed not install documentation (link).

However, if following the Archlinux wiki for TeX-live, one installs the AUR package texlive-most-doc (link), then the docs will also be installed in /usr/share/texmf/doc/.

So, perhaps this link is not necessarily the correct way of doing things, since the docs are not for a Linux package, but for a TeX package?

Not sure where python2 comes in?
