Resolving Common Issues and Errors with the APT
- Error: Null values remain after interpolation…the APT cannot complete this analysis.
There was not enough precipitation data to build the 30-year record because there were either 1) not enough stations or 2) all stations are missing the same days of data. Close the APT, reboot, and try again. If that doesn’t resolve the error, use the gridded precipitation dataset.
- Error: National Map EPQS Server Offline.
The APT needs the elevation data from that service to ensure that it is selecting the most appropriate primary and secondary weather stations for the analysis. This service is operated and maintained by USGS. Generally, services are back online within 24 hours. Users can check the status of the service here: https://stats.uptimerobot.com/gxzRZFARLZ/793824472. Close the APT, and retry after the USGS services are back online.
- Error: NOAA’s server is offline. Request terminated, as weather data is currently inaccessible.
