SPLUS-MOON

Reads S-PLUS Image FITS Header and calculates moon position and illumination at the DATETIME of the observation. If --append option is set, the program will also append the new information to the Image FITS Header.

Usage

SPLUS-MOON usage:

	usage: splus-moon.py [-h] [--append] FITSFILE

	Reads S-PLUS Image FITS Header and calculates moon position and illumination at the DATETIME of the observation.

	positional arguments:
  		FITSFILE      Observed Image FITS filename

	options:
  		-h, --help    show this help message and exit
  		--append, -A  Append calculated information to the Image FITS header

Example

A simple example of result:

	$./splus-moon.py SPLUS-GAL-20180713-042623.fits.fz
