Leopard Users

Starting with version 0.6, support for Apple's Mac OS X 10.5 will be dropped. Versions 0.5.x will still continue to work, but we feel we should be taking advantage of new APIs and features of the operating systems, we will be focusing development on 10.6 and possibly 10.7. With over 70% of our users on Snow Leopard, and with Lion just around the corner, we want to make CoRD be the best that it can be, and that involves ripping out a lot of old code and replacing it with some of the awesomesauce that Apple provides developers with each iteration of the operating system.

We know this will anger a lot of 10.5 users who are stuck, for whatever reason, just as it agitates many of you stuck with last-gen PowerPC machines that we no longer officially support your platform. We apologize, but the decision is made, the world is moving forward and CoRD is getting revamped to go with it.
