Description of your changes

modifies the renovate configuration in two ways:

• moves to the new config:recommended base configuration as the old one was deprecated
• adds the configuration to let renovate automatically bump dependencies defined in the examples, to have them always updated. This will only work once the release is actually used by the mend hosted version of renovate, see here.

I have:

• Read and followed Crossplane's contribution process.
• Added or updated unit tests for my change.
