Alperen Divriklioğlu Repository Research

You can find the GitHub repositories I find interesting below:

gecko-dev

  • It is the current official git mirror of the Firefox code base.
  • As I prefer Firefox over other web browsers, being able to see the source code of my favorite browser is exciting!
  • What I find interesting about this repository is that although it's used by Mozilla, it's open to the contributions of other people not from Mozilla!

localstack

  • LocalStack provides the same functionality and APIs as the real AWS cloud environment on your local machine, and therefore it allows apps using AWS for free.
  • The "Readme" of the repository is well written and explanatory enough.

linux

  • The repository stores the Linux kernel source code.
  • The repository had 24,065 contributors so far! (Probably the GitHub repository with the highest number of contributors!)
