Known problems in this pre-release

  • Retropass doesn't seem to be working
  • The exit game button causes a crash when launching a new game.

Special thanks to worleydl for finding and fixing an Xbox driver problem, as well as jpolo1224, UR 0WN DAD and Jeen for testing!

The themes system

New themes can be added by making a new folder in /Themes/ in your user folder and including these files:

  • carousel_background_all.png - Default carousel view [Required]
  • menu_background.png - Settings background [Required]
  • list_ui.png - UI overlay for the list view [Required]
  • carousel_ui.png - UI overlay for the carousel view [Required]
  • carousel_background_wii.png - The Wii tab background. Defaults to carousel_background_all
  • carousel_background_gamecube.png - The GameCube tab background. Defaults to carousel_background_all
  • carousel_background_other.png - The Other tab background. Defaults to carousel_background_all
  • carousel_background_list.png - Background for the List screen. Defaults to menu_background
  • carousel_background_netplay.png - Background for the Netplay screen. Defaults to menu_background

The theme can then be selected under Settings > Interface > Themes
