Sorry for just dropping in out of nowhere, but what is this necessary for? WorldEdit already has an official Fabric port.

It's still useful for us to target, gives us stuff mods actually use.

We like to have mods to test features against, so if we get all the events that WorldEdit requires working, and Forge WorldEdit works, then we know that those events were more or less implemented correctly.

i also know that some people have joked about running every version of worldedit at the same time just to see what would happen
