I tried adding this package back in January, but chose to hold off until php-81 was merged. Just wanted to see if this is working now without any issues

Okay, so application-x-openbenchmarking.png and usr/share/mime/packages/openbenchmarking-mime.xml are in build/prototype/usr (as per the manifest), but your system is looking for them in build/prototype/i386 and build/prototype/i386/mangled

I'm not sure why this is happening. Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry, I don't know yet and alas I will be offline for a couple of weeks.

Hey @alarcher, have you been able to make any progress in tracking down the source of the issue?

It publishes on the PR builder and manually tested again today

Wow! Who knew it just needed 1.5 years to fully mature?

@AndWac , @alarcher , are you able to replicate the build / verify that this could be committed?

I can rebase and push if needed

@AndWac @alarcher @Toasterson

I don't want to be pushy, but this pull request has been open for almost two years now. The package builds successfully without errors. Can we please go ahead and merge it?

I really am not sure why this is happening. I'm working in a clean virtual machine which I set up specifically for this pull request, with no extra packages installed beyond what is minimally necessary, and I get mine to publish perfectly every single time

Some tips:

  • Is your copy of the oi-userland git repo up-to-date?
  • Is the machine up-to-date?
  • How it behaves when you try to install (almost) all packages (except system/install/media/internal which is toxic)?
  • How are the affected files generated on your machine? Is this visible in some logs?
