@nesnoj These changes were made by some "user" - I think it was someone from RLI. Do you know about this effort to harmonize repositories within the OpenEnergyPlatform. Should we merge this to get a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md?

The git log reveals a mail address and I have a clue..

Hi, this was done by @Darynarli who got multiple github accounts and seems to have issues with switching between them i assume :)

Some time ago, she had the task of rolling out a standardised repo structure for the OEF repos. The model was the super-repo, but unfortunately everything fell asleep again. There were a few more problems ... so it wasn't finalised. I had told her to do this in the open-MaStR as well, then it can be decided there whether it makes sense or can be removed again. It would be good to have a slightly more standardised structure, and adding things like CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md is a minor effort that I would vote for.

So I suppose we drop the changes in USERS.cff and README.rst and keep the CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md?
