New since v10:

  • Fixed #26 Unable to connect to multiple instances of gsconnect, first reported by @nononomen
With help from @pschichtel and @stark-dev. This fix may require some users to re-pair devices. Sorry for any inconvenience
  • Fixed #20 Clipboard doesn't sync in Wayland session, reported by @IOTA-dev
@lnicola helped track this down to a Wayland issue. Eventually clipboard sync may be unavailable on Wayland if a compositor extension isn't written.

    Help from @kppmsd, @stark-dev and @isantop (of Pop!_OS)

  • Implemented #68 Implement new album art feature, reported by @TamasBarta
Currently, only remote album art is supported. (eg Spotify)
  • Merged #73 Update Metadata: Add GNOME 3.28 Support, submitted by @showcheap

v3

v3 is now available for download and there have been quite a few changes (141 commits!). Please see the FAQ in the Wiki before opening a new issue.

New since v2:

  • Use GSettings instead of configuration files (users will need to repair and reconfigure devices, sorry)
  • Block duplicate Telephony notifications of all kinds
  • Support icon syncing for notifications
  • Unpaired devices are automatically removed when they disconnect
  • Lots of Gnome HIG adjustments and parity with Gnome Control Center UI
  • Tons of other changes

Reminder:

  • By default devices appear in the User Menu, not the panel.
  • This has only been tested on Gnome 3.24, but will should work on 3.26. Older versions may work, but are not officially supported.
  • Newly added devices begin with no plugins enabled
