5.1.90
Pre-releaseWhat's Changed
- Windows support has been completely rewritten (Fixes #626 | #575 | #574 | #555 | #96)
- Added KDE Mobile spin support
- Show a warning dialog about your device being completely erased by the writing process (#742)
NOTE
The Windows support has been completely rewritten to make it more robust and reliable, especially when it comes to restoring your USB drive to a normal state. Even though it has been extensively tested by myself and several other people, there may still be corner cases where we fail to write an image to your USB drive or recover it afterwards. Please report such problems here and attach the logs that can be found in your Documents
folder (these are MediaWriter.txt
and MediaWriter-helper.txt
). In case you are not able to restore your drive back using Fedora Media Writer (hopefully not the case anymore), it's always possible to restore your drive in Linux by creating a new partition table and partitions or you can use tools like Rufus on Windows.
