The EDRN Portal is nomonally hosted at:

https://edrn.nci.nih.gov/

and has a "convenient" alias at

https://cancer.gov/edrn

P4

The P4 or "old portal" is deployed at the "Shady Grove" facility with the following details:

  • edrn.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for edrn-sg.ha.nci.nih.gov
  • The IPv4 address is 129.43.254.26
  • The IPv6 address is 2607:f220:41d:21c1::812b:fe1a
  • No logins

This is considered the production tier, or PROD.

Other Tiers

The development tier (also known as DEV) is https://edrn-dev.nci.nih.gov with the following details:

  • edrn-dev.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for edrn-dev.ha.nci.nih.gov
  • The IPv4 address is 10.133.198.68
  • There is no IPv6 address
  • It's hosted on nciws-d624-v.nci.nih.gov
  • Logins are possible for designated users in the NED

The "staging" tier (also known as STAGE) is https://edrn-test.nci.nih.gov with the following details:

  • edrn-test.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for edrn-test.ha.nci.nih.gov
  • The IPv4 address is 10.133.202.108
  • There is no IPv6 address
  • No logins

P5

The P5 or "new portal" is deployed in the cloud using NCI's "CloudOne", an environment provided by GovCloud, a service of Amazon Web Services.

It will be hosted at https://edrn.nci.nih.gov/ eventually (🤞) and become the new production or PROD tier. At that time edrn.nci.nih.gov will be a CNAME for the host environment. Until then the following details are applicable:

  • The site is accessible via https://edrn-aws.nci.nih.gov/
  • edrn-aws.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for prod-Appli-BWAJ0ZE6FVC3-2110667069.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com
  • That host as two IPv4 addresses:
    • 54.152.236.9
    • 35.170.209.70
  • That host also has two IPv6 addresses:
    • 2600:1f18:2102:3601:a1f2:137b:bd63:75c8
    • 2600:1f18:2102:3601:a1f2:137b:bd63:75c8
  • No logins

Other Tiers

The development tier ("DEV") is https://edrn-dev-aws.nci.nih.gov/. Details follow:

  • edrn-dev-aws.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for internal-DEV-E-Appli-195M1X85R12N9-1544366924.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com
  • The IPv4 addresses are 10.208.0.49 and 10.208.4.240
  • There are no IPv6 addresses
  • Logins are possible for designated users in the NED

The "staging" or STAGE tier is https://edrn-stage-aws.nci.nih.gov/ with the following details:

  • edrn-stage-aws.nci.nih.gov is a CNAME for internal-stage-Appli-POP9U8MRVRX6-1814674729.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com
  • The IPv4 addresses are 10.208.19.75 and 10.208.23.23
  • There are no IPv6 addresses
  • No logins
  • The staging tier is up only from 7am to 7pm eastern time
