Good idea @morandinimarcelo - could you expand on that a little further? What topics, or aspects of DataONE, do you think should the "help" section cover? |
Hi there Robyn
Well... i think it might be something that overviews the web site and the
possible search for environmental data
Something very general...
And designed for a non-experienced user - like someone using the web site
for an initial search
My wife is a biologist and i will ask her help to search for something and
so i can have better clues... ;-)

Thanks, @morandinimarcelo! Feedback from users with less or no experience with the website is super useful. I see how we might be able to provide more information to users who aren't yet familiar with DataONE or the MetacatUI search interface. Related to that, I'm going to copy your feedback about the advanced search help here, as it's closely related and it will be useful to have all of this feedback in one place. From issue 93:
