I noticed the python binary was located in "/usr/local/bin/python3" on my personal machine so I figured others might rely on "python3" existing as well. Likewise, it is possible for the path to the "bash" binary to be in a different between machines so using "/usr/bin/env" to determine where bash is located is considered to be more portable.
