This is the second Alpha release of MAL Updater OS X 2.5, which now uses the new Official MAL API. This release does not require the use of Atarashii-API, but may have bugs since the API is new. This release improves title recognition.
Now you can remove the donation reminder, restrictions and unlock features with a donation key. You can get a key by donating. If you have donated already, you can retrieve your key here.
This version requires El Capitan or later and is compatible with High Sierra.
Bug Fixes and Enhancements
- Improve title recognition
- Replaced icons, some by Icons8
- Fixed Title Recognition for longer titles. Limit the title to 50 chars so the search API won't break.
- Remove EasyNSURLConnection dependency.
Known Issues
- MAL Updater OS X does not set the start and end date since those fields are not implemented in the new API yet.
