Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your machine:

Cloning the Repository

git clone https://github.com/Agamya-Samuel/Ecommerce-NextJS
cd Ecommerce-NextJS

Installation

Install the project dependencies using pnpm:

pnpm install

Set Up Environment Variables

Create a new file named .env in the root of your project and add the following content:

NEXTAUTH_SECRET=YOUR_SECRET

POSTGRES_URL=postgresql://user:password@localhost:5432/database

NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_NAME=YOUR_APP_NAME
NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_DESCRIPTION=YOUR_APP_DESCRIPTION

Replace the placeholder values with your actual PostgreSQL credentials and other necessary configuration.

Running the Project

pnpm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the project.

Building for Production

pnpm run build
pnpm start

This will start the production server.
