CC @CheukHinHoJerry -- this implements the evaluation of the purification. Because we will initially need this only for the basis, we mainly need the pushforward rather than the pullback. But I'm very concerned about this implementation. It scales like
#AA x #X, and I don't see any way to fix this scaling. We may wish to rethink this from scratch.
