We recently ran out of space in a Mainframe system-wide PDS that we use as part of every install of Zowe, and this was due to the PDS members being modified hundreds of times without a compress being run to reclaim old space. The out of space was only seen on one target system, but was on track to happen on all systems. We should automatically run compress within our automation to avoid this problem in the future. Compress takes <500ms to run on average for small datasets so it should have negligible impact on build time.
