Editor does not report when you can't access a folder due to permissions. #982

steps to reproduce:

  1. Open text editor
  2. Navigate to a directory where you do have permission
  3. try to expand a folder/directory you dont have permission
    result:
  • UI gives no feedback at all
  • network tab contains 403 errors, so the UI is not turning those into anything the user can see.

does this happen when apiml is/isnt used? could the error response be different?
