Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Go to a video
  2. Hold the subtitles button
  3. Go to the second option
  4. Normally every language should be there but now only a small amount si selectable

Actual behavior

You choose a subtitle language but not every is selectable anymore

Additional information

A Phillips android tv. Like cmon man i needed those subtitles in every language

No need to solve anything the subtitles came back in the latest version

Came here to ask about this.

In this bug description, the second option is for the auto-generated subtitles. Many versions ago, this menu would list many languages as options for the auto-generated subtitles to be auto-translated. For many versions now, including the current one, it only lists the native language as an option for auto-generated. No auto-translate languages are listed at all.
This disappeared around the time of the original 403 error no playback problems, so it has been nearly a year now.

For example, if the video is in Korean and does not have subtitles added, then under the "Subtitles (autogenerated)" second menu option, it will have 2 options: "Subtitles disabled" and "korean (auto-generated)". Zero options for auto-translation.
