Please describe the enhancement you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

We would really like better insight/reporting on saved changes of settings over time. It came up that potentially it's worth it to:

  • Have a 'backup' of the settings (e.g. per week) so that you know the differences and can restore if needed.
  • The event viewer contains the data of settings changes, but it's not 'good enough' for you to provide that insight.

Like e.g. an easy "dump" of your settings. Or a more readable print-out of all settings change events in a format you'd like better.

How would you imagine the implementation of the enhancemenent?
