Objective
As part of the Amazon Pay ECE project, we want to add Amazon Pay to the payment methods settings page. This will allow merchants to enable and disable the feature.

Acceptance criteria

  • Amazon Pay appears in the Express checkouts section of the Stripe payment methods settings page.
  • User is able to enable and disable Amazon Pay express checkout.
  • No regression for product, cart, checkout and pay-for-order pages.
  • No regression for stores that are still on PRB.
  • Relevant documentation have been added or updated.

Notes
Please document learnings, technical gotchas, and other things of note.

Questions

  1. Should the Amazon Pay setting be treated separately from that of Apple Pay and Google Pay?
  2. If treated separately, should it be turned on by default?

I think that treating it separately makes sense, just like Link.

Let's make it opt-in for now, and we can change it later.

@hsingyuc On second thought, we probably shouldn't update anything in that document until the actual release. I will coordinate the documentation updates, likely with Adam H., after the release.

Please consider the documentation task for this issue cancelled.
