What software would you like us to add to wolfi-os. Ideally include a URL to the project and its source.

Directly quoting from their readme:

Flutter is Google's SDK for crafting beautiful, fast user experiences for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. Flutter works with existing code, is used by developers and organizations around the world, and is free and open source.

It is basically a tool to build UI apps that work across many platforms. Their website is https://flutter.dev and their repo lies at https://github.com/flutter/flutter. It seems to use a BSD-3 license.

which versions of the software should we include?

3.24.2

Add some justification for why this specific package and versions are important.

It is a pretty common tooling used for creating UI apps in many platforms. This package could be utilized with a web server for local development or linux builds with X forwarding.

Please check all that apply

  • This package has an un-restrictive license
  • The package/versions proposed are actively maintained upstream
  • I am interested in adding this package to Wolfi OS myself
  • I am willing to help maintain this package
