Under 7.2.1.4. Notification processing:
"The cache notification message published by the Global Cache should be identical to the notification message received, except for the following:..."

In addition, some further adjustments are allowed, but they are not necessary:

  • adding in a links entry "length"
  • for cache override set properties.cache to false (from default true)
  • remove properties.content if content size too high
  • adding properties.integrity.value and properties.integrity.method if not included

As I believe that some of these adjustments increase quality, they should not be prohibited. Or are they forbidden?

Addition:

  • for cache override there will no message be sent from cache (can be deleted from the list)
  • for adding properties.integrity we could add for example to value and method a source to clarify it is new set by global-cache
