The idea is to test each category individually:

  • Assertions.
  • Execution (using the same assertion for everyone).
  • Test coupling / nested testing (using the same assertion for everyone).
  • Generalist benchmarks (with a mix of everything mentioned).

Perhaps, a performance report with TypeScript executions without compilation would be really useful.

Previously, I displayed the benchmark outputs for each PR, but I was reluctant to spam too much, for example: #846 (comment).
